The monument is located on the hilltop above the British military cemetery . It consists of a central obelisk with two lions and around the four columns on which are engraved the names of the fallen 418 officers and 10,282 soldiers of the British Army.
A marble inscription on the back of the monument reads:
"As tax gratitude of the Greek people were given the land where lies the war memorial to this eternal memory of the war in 1915-1918 being practiced fallen soldiers of the British Army. Glory to them . "
and the side also writes
