Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Ebenezer Geo-Quest!

The purpose of the Ebenezer Geo-Quest (or EG-Q) is to show you some of the sights, history and scenery of this secluded part of the Hawkesbury.

This is one in a series of EG-Q caches; hope you enjoy the rural setting.

This cache is a little bit of fun.

Unbeknownst to most individuals there are secret magical realms hidden within clear sight. All along Portland Head Road it is rumoured that Snow White’s retreat is close by, guarded by magical gnomes and fairies.

The devastating bushfires of November 2013 scorched the surrounding bush to the ground, leaving all but smouldering stumps and the all faithful gnomes guarding the entrance to the retreat realm.

During road maintenance just before this cache was released, the majority of the gnomes were kidnapped… whereabouts unknown!!! Fortunately local residents have come to their aid and they are slowly reappearing. If you have any spare gnomes looking for adventures, feel free to add to the collection...but do not remove what is already here.

If you stop for a minute and take in your surroundings you may be lucky enough to spot one of these magical beings. When travelling to the next cache in this series, you may be really lucky whilst travelling along Portland Head Road to see the enchanted silver king gnome…but only if you believe.

For the EG-Q#25: Final Puzzle, make a note of the property number near the cache location.
