Come help keep Valley View Park clean and fun for everyone!
We'll meet at the posted coordinates at 9AM where garbage bags will be provided (please bring your own gloves and any other equipment you may need) then we'll disperse throughout the park area and see how much garbage we can find. This park is bigger than people think and there are nice trails throughout the area so I'm hoping for a large turnout to really clean this area up.
We'll meet back at the pavilion at 11AM for a group photo with our pile of garbage. There is a large dumpster for the park nearby so we'll just put all of our trash there after the photo has been taken. I will check with the park staff to see if the bathrooms will be open by the time this event is happening. There is a port-a-potty nearby but if the bathrooms are closed there will be no running water to clean up.
This event will happen rain or shine so be prepared for the constantly changing Minnesota weather! Also, everyone who attends a CITO this weekend gets a special digital souvenir for their collection!
