Geocache Description:

Come enjoy a beautiful Waynesville historical site!

Located in the Roy Laughlin Memorial Park, this gorgeous five-span concrete bridge (which replaced a metal truss bridge in 1923) embodies centuries of local, regional, and even national history.  Come read all about this fascinating history at the nearby display (about 500 feet SE of cache along the sidewalk).  Soak in some natural beauty as well while coming to find this cache.  BYOP.  Congratulations to GeopenguinsH on another FTF!

(Note: park is open from 6 am to 10 pm)
