This cache is situated in a beautiful location that has become one of our favourite places for a summer evening stroll with Ben, our dog and replaces an archived cache, Well Choughed. The actual location of this cache is slightly different to the original.
Rinsey is a delightful mix of seascape, landscape, mining heritage and natural history. Walk on and you can take in three old engine houses with World Heritage Site status. There are also close-up views of rare plant-life, and the enigmatic Bishop Rock (Camels Head). You might see ponies grazing, or some choughs displaying or even dolphins playing.
There are several other caches in this area, including the Trewavas Trail caches and the Camel's Head Earthcache.
*This cache is placed with the kind permission of The National Trust*.
