Aproximately one hours drive from Melbourne, Castella is located in a dense bushy enironment with many trees and ferns, as well as fresh air and wildlife. If you are lucky, you may spot a wombat, wallaby and many species of birds. Castella Central Park is located at the top of the slide (Melba Hwy), on the corner of Healesville-Kinglake Road heading towards Toolangi. Weather you are a tourist stopping for a rest with your caravan or motorhome, or perhaps just a car or a horse, this is a beautiful place to stop for an hour or more. There is parking here, as well as a BBQ and shade, also some stables to park a horse if you are travelling on one. Enjoy the fresh air and a bit of a walk. The cache is aproximately 5 meters off the walking track, and is a 1 litre sistema container, painted the same colour as where it is located, so a second glance may be needed :)
