A quick cache on Constitution Plaza at the SW corner of Whittier Blvd and Harbor Blvd. Once upon a time there used to be a large, plain fountain here and a Whittier-to-Harbor right lane that bypassed the signal, but the corner was redone sometime in the 1980s. Now the plaza hosts military memorials and flagpoles. Have a seat; you will have a 50-50 chance of getting the correct side on your first try, but it might help to know that I am not left handed.
Your best bet for parking is in the shopping center on the NW corner of Whittier and Harbor, and use the crosswalk at the signal.
