A micro derailment from the UP Rail-trail placed to help cachers interested in Baad Daata's GC4Q1T5 Pepper Mint Challenge.

To accomplish Baad Daata's GC4Q1T5 Pepper Mint Challenge (requiring 25 caches with "Mint" in the title) is a real challenge, given a general lack of mint-related caches. We're comparatively fortunate to have a string of Mint caches set by the League of ID Cachers along the Executive Airport Drive (Via Inspirada) in southwest Henderson. They provide a good start, but to advance beyond those is tough. To spare those interested a lot of research, I attach a list of some comparatively "nearby" Mint caches.

Apart from the above, I know of 3 in the Reno area, 3 in Palm Springs, 1 near 29 Palms, 1 in Prescott and 2 in Chandler, AZ, 1 in Denver... and several up near Mountain Home, ID... and loads in Florida and a string of Mintally Disableds in Texas... Not an easy challenge to meet here in NV/UT/AZ!!

* Okay, I know Gallup, NM isn't very close, but their Balloon Festival each December can make the trip worthwhile.
