congrats to meremere1994 for FTF!
i have been working with people who have intellectual disabilities for over 30 years...i really just wanted to coach basketball but then i met one of these little peeps and i just fell in love. one of my guys i had over the years was david dana. he's buried in the "new" side of the grandview cemetery. his grave is too close to another cache across the highway so i couldn't put the cache there so i chose this location because it's almost lined up with him...only far enough away. dave-o was full of energy and always moving and grooving. he had difficulty walking but it didn't slow him down at all. he always participated in the 50m in special olympics and won a bunch of medals over the years. he embodied the special olympics oath..."let me win, but if i cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt." he was a good buddy of mine and i miss him so after you find the cache, give him a nod.
