This is NOT a Park and Grab! This one will not be enjoyed by all!
Some will love the short hike into the mangroves! Be forewarned you will probably get muddy,
you may even get wet. In the summer it is very hot, muggy, and buggy. Most of the journey to this
Geocache will be easy, the last 50' will be challenging. You will be climbing over and around a tangled web of mangrove
roots. Your reward is a hanging camouflaged medium size pill bottle container with a logsheet within.
If this sounds exciting to you then Do It!
St. Lucie County is attempting to restore native flora and fauna here by removing invasive species.
There is somewhat of a maintained trail here and you can do a little bit of exploring.
This is one of the few high and dry spots in the area and if you hike a short distance towards the river
you will see some scrub oaks and palms, a little island oasis if you will.
Quite buggy here in the wet season.
