Please look for this cache only during the hours that Riverside Park is open to the public. Do not attempt to look for this cache whenever the river is overflowing over the trails. The rapid river can be very dangerous. Try not to disturb the many people fishing at many different places along your journey to the cache. Stay along the river and Do NOT Trespass toward the water treatment facility north of the river.
The large black PB jar is near the Clackamas River shoreline trail. Please do not damage the cache by using a sharp object to poke for finding the thin plastic container. Continue east along the trail until you encounter a large log jam. Leave the trail to go north along a few large logs. Then go west toward a large uproot or trunk of the largest fallen tree in the area. Be aware and use stealth whenever anyone is walking along any trails in the area. There might be some blackberry vines to cut through to get the cache location. There are other ways to the cache than the route described above. Please return the cache to the same location out with camo cover to keep the cache out of plain view. Also leave a few rocks in the container just in case the cache might want to float away. Congrats to Kthorton for the FTF. Enjoy the hike and the hunt.
Note: BYOP and you must sign the log to claim a find with this cache. This rule applies to all of my caches or your log 'found-it' entry will be deleted. Also, make sure you put the log back into a sealed baggie to keep it dry.
