This is the third Lookout cache and gets you to the top of the main ridge accessible from the Top of Howard Road, Point Howard or from the top of Wainuiomata Hill (quickest route for this lookout) The cache is however not hidden at the lookout this time but a liitle further down the main ridge track heading to Days Bay.
The tracks from Point Howard are wide and graveled and well marked. No stairs.
To find this cache admire the view from the waypoint then continue down track running South to Days Bay.
It is on the left side of the track as you walk South and is a few metres down a little goat track.
