Fall in line recruits! I know it's your first day here in the Confederate Army, but this is a crucial time for us, and we need everyone on their toes! Them yanks have been firing cannons at the state house from across the bridge, and they'll soon be storming across it to burn everything, and we can't allow that! Your mission is to follow my instructions precisely, and to find the hidden stash that will assure us victory! Is that understood? Good!
To start, here are the coordinates to a bunker that our soldiers have setup to help hold things down out there. Start by going to these coordinates and finding that bunker. Go on in and gather the arms you'll need to finish this mission.
Once you're armed and ready, look to the west. You'll see the great symbol of our state, the palmetto tree, wrapped in the stars and stripes of the US of A. Proceed to that tree, and make sure there ain't no Northern spies on your tail!
As long as the coast is clear, your next stop is going to be to head North, and seek out Lieutenant Fryar. You'll find the lieutenant hiding in among the neatly trimmed trees. Make your way to him, and contact him for an update on how the rest of the mission is going.
Once you have updated him on your progress, you'll set out to the West. If you look high in the air, you'll see the flag of our nation flying. That is where you'll head to next.
If there's no sign of the Union troops by then, your next assignment is to report to General Coble. To reach his outpost, continue the same direction you were headed, and descend the battlements, and you'll find his grand square tent nestled on the side of the canal. From here, look out over the water and you'll see the bridge the Northerners will be coming across. Give the General a progress report, and then be on your way, you'll almost be to the stash!
Head back out of the trench, and strike out to the North along the foot trail. Very soon you'll see a drinking spring on your right. Turn to the East at the drinking spring, and continue til you see the remnants of the mess hall of our old barracks. Standing at the mess hall tables, you'll see where the bushes meet the bricks of the fort. That is where the stash has been hidden!
If all goes well, you will make it here without drawing the attention of opposing forces, and can help lead our cause to victory! Good luck recruits! We're counting on your mission being successful, so don't let us down!
