In the late eighties and early nineties Mona Vale Road was diverted from passing through the eastern side of Terrey Hills to a little further east thus sparing Terrey Hills from the growing traffic on Mona Vale Road and the resulting noise.
Like the Talking Heads song of the same era, the short bypassed section of the old Mona Vale Road created a Road to Nowhere.
This micro cache is placed near the southern part of the Road to Nowhere. It is mostly frequented by cyclists as they access the under highway crossing and the few residences. There is plenty of parking and there is no need to go anywhere near the nearby major road or go bush bashing. Note that the nearby bush has been signposted as containing threatened species.
This is a very small cache with room only for a log, pencil and maybe some small swaps.
