This is a series of 15 caches (with an optional 3 to be placed there very soon). It consists of a very pleasant stoll along the River Lemon, with some pleasant extensive views in some places. It is suitable for families with young children. Wellies are advised, especially in the winter. All the caches in the series are rated as easy, the clues also being very precise and helpful, making the whole series very easy. Ideal for newcomers to geocaching, just as we are!
This cache is owned by Ajaga, a group of young people new to geocaching, but assisted by Wenglish. In seeking the some of the caches in this series, you will need to walk through National Trust zones, some areas of which are protected by SSSI classification. In accordance with Geocaching guidelines and indeed SSSI guidelines too, it will not be necessary to trample through undergrowth (which could disturb plant or wildlife). All that you seek can be found within a few feet of a path. Wellingtons are advised. Permissions have been kindly granted by the National Trust and SSSI (Natural England) Please look after your countryside and enjoy it.
