This geocache is an ammo box hidden at the base of Glory Bowl. The box may blend in so look carefully!
Keep in mind that since Jackson Hole gets lots of snow during the winter months the box may be buried in snow and not accessable. There is also a risk of avalanches so be careful if you go looking for the geocache in the late fall or spring winter (the cache will be disabled during the winter so as not to attrack people to a dangerous location). Some other risks might be wildlife in the area so even though it is at the base of Glory be sure to carry bear spray. It is also a rock fall area so watch out for falling rock and be sure to not fall off any rocks.
This box was created by the Journeys Middle School. We are in the middle of a geocaching unit and thought it might be convenient to place a geocache somewhere close to the school so we can check it frequently. There should always be a sharpie inside so feel free to write your name on the box but please don’t use inappropriate language. Also please put your name on the log and trade an item if you have one of equal value. Leave comments and pictures below to tell us how you liked it and have a great find!
