It's Time To Party!!
GeocachingNSW would like to extend an invitation to all geocachers to come along to our Christmas Party at Putney. Join us for some fun and socializing to celebrate another year (almost) of great geocaching fun.
The event will be held along the banks of the Parramatta River at Kissing Point Park, Waterview St, Putney on Sunday, 30th November, 2014, commencing at 11am and concluding around 3pm.
The park includes free BBQs, a number of covered tables, open grass space, kids playground, car parking and toilet block. A member of the committee will be arriving early to hopefully secure a spot but please bring picnic blankets, chairs, cookers and shelter if you like. Ensure you bring a hat and sunscreen as well as your picnic gear. Please BYO all your food and drink requirements for the day.
New geocachers are most welcome to attend as it’s a great way to meet the local geocaching community and pick up some tips on any aspect of the game. Don’t forget you can swap travel bugs and geocoins at the event. The Association will also have a number of geocaching related items for sale.
At the Christmas Party, we will be announcing the “2013/14 Geocache Of The Year”... but not until you have voted. Attendees on the day will all have the chance to vote, as well as GCNSW Forum Members. Please click on the banner below.
This event is open to all GeocachingNSW members and non-members alike, all are welcome! Come and learn what the Association does and have a great time meeting like-minded folk.
