Geocache Description:

Dalton Road runs from the Chautauqua/Cowley line to the town of Elgin, just a little over 16 miles.  The road has twists, turns, ups, and downs.  It can be a fun road to go on and you never know what could be just around the bend.  I have seen lots of wildlife.  There are several low water bridges so be careful after a heavy rain.

Dalton Road is part of the Red Bud Tour in the spring and in the fall the colors of the trees are beautiful.  Winter and summer are nice too.  I thought this road would make an interesting road for a power run so if you like it please add to it.  We have 16 miles to fill, so help me out.

The caches on the run are of different sizes (nano to bucket) and different shapes.  I hope you enjoy the run.  Happy Caching!!!

The old timers use to call this road Possum Trot.  Nobody knows why but they joke about it.  "Once a family of opossums trotted down the road" Okay, okay, whatever!  Now the road is Road 6, however there are some who still call it Possum Trot.

The cache is a pill bottle with a little friend looking out.
