Located Chelmsford near the 1000 acre Great Brook Farm State Park In Carlisle. There are several trail heads along North Road in Carlisle and two parking areas. The distance is about 960 meters from the parking area at Great Brook Farm.
Alternate parking at the Thanksgiving Forest entrance is located of Route 4 to Wildes to Janet to dead end (N42 33.970 W71 20.300), shorter walk less trail traffic.
Mountain Bike riding in permitted in the park.
The cache is in a 26 ounce Delmonte jar inside of a 4-inch plastic pipe with 2 1/2 inch dia opening small trinkets only. Fairly obvious spot among very few spots, should be an easy find. May not be in sight, may have to poke around the ground cover.
It is a tight fit so when replacing you may need to wiggle and push to get the cache back down slightly below the surrounding cover. Put a small amount of cover over the cache.
