Geocache Description:

Take control of the SYDNEY live! webcam and get your head, and body, in the frame. snap a shot, and post a find.

This Webcam cache was inspired by the Times Square Webcam recently visited by one of the GeoMonkeys Team.

This cache requires a team effort!

What you will need:

    A GPS
A friend at his/her computer with an internet connection.

mobile phone(s) or set time when you will be at the cache site.
How to find and claim this webcam virtual cache:
View the webcam, get an idea of where to stand..
The coordinates will get you close ( maybe) They are not exact coordinates telling you where to stand. You, with the help of your friend(s), need to "hunt" for a spot to stand.
Call your friend and have them go to this webcam page, View Sydney Webcam. the instructions on how to use the cam, are included on the page.
Get your friend to guide you on where to stand for the best picture then... Smile for the camera and take a snapshot. You've made your Found it! log entry. you can now include the picture in the log.
Found it! logs without proper pictures will be deleted. Don't log it until you have your picture ready for upload.
Disclamers:
We do not own or control this webcam.
We do not get any warning when this camera is down for maintenance and/or repair. If the webcam is not working, for any reason, a photo taken of you at the cache site is acceptiable. Ensure, that you are seen in the picture and it is obvious that you are a geocacher, and identifiable at the cache site. fuzzy long shots of little people will be accepted...ONLY if they have a Geocachng logo easily visible. the bigger the better, so here's the challenge get a big logo printer, or paint your own bed sheet and get your head on the webcam!
This webcam may be reposistioned at any time. For the best results you should use a mobile phone so your friends can position you for the best possible picture.

There are plenty of places to stand with this cache. The camera can be rotated by you, from the Harbour Bridge to the Opera House,to Circular Quay, and anywhere in between. The camera zooms, pans, and tilts. so check out a few spots using the camera before you go out for an attempt. We know that being artistic geocachers, you will come up with some great shots.

To make it easier to identify you on the photo, please have one of the following visible with you in shot..

    1. Be wearing some form of Geocaching.com Geogear with the logo clearly visible.
    2. Wave a banner,or flag emblazoned with the geocaching logo. an a4 printed copy will not suffice.
    3. Display a sign that must include, but is not limited to, the www.geocaching.com URL
I know of one team who can probably log this cache from thier own balcony!

you can only controll the camera for 2 mins at a time , so get some practice in before hand, as you ,mmay have a long wait for your next attempt.

This is harder than it looks...
