Geocache Description:

Geocaching is a world-wide treasure hunt that millions of people paricipate in. It's really easy to get started and we will be glad to help anyone by introducing the basics of geocaching. Please join us in the Becket Town Pavilion at 2 pm and learn how easily you can become a paricipant in this awesome adventure!

Members of the Berkshire Geobash Planning Committee, New England's only continuous MEGA event will be on board to teach geocaching basics to anyone interested in picking up a great hobby!

The Geocaching 101 workshop will start at 2 pm on Sunday, June 28. There will be a pot luck following the workshop, beginning at approximately 3 pm.

For the workshop you can use your smartphone (please pre-load the FREE geocaching app on it before coming to the event) or a handheld GPS unit with the geocaching feature on it.

Please list what you will bring for the Pot Luck so that we'll be sure to have a variety.
