CONGRATULATIONS TO: KOKOPELI FOR THE FTF!

A great spot to take pictures of Mt Shasta, so please do and post them!

NOTE: I notified Caltrans regarding the trash issue, as of September 9, 2014 they (Annette) contacted me and said that they had cleared all trash from the area (6 bags) so I am super happy about that. Caltrans does not have trash cans in the area, and Annette whom I spoke with was not sure why, but will be checking on that.

Annette also requested that if anybody would like to take this area on as an "Adopt the Highway" project that Caltrans would be grateful for the help. So I am letting you know if this is something anybody would like to undertake then please contact: Annette @ Caltrans - her direct line (530) 225-3013

From Caltrans: Message from District MSR Coordinator: Our maintenance crew in that area took care of this yesterday. They picked up six bags of litter. It has been requested that the probationary crew for further litter clean up and to weed whack. We are looking for a Adopt-A-Highway volunteer. Thanks.
