Jumping Salmon!! Traditional Cache

Hidden in a beautiful area not far off the Botwood Highway. To get here, travel along the woods access road, which is on your left before crossing the Northen Arm Bridge (if travelling towards Northern Arm from Botwood). This road can get rough at times, so a truck or atv will be helpful. Or hike it!!

Locally, this area is known as "The Falls.'  On hot summer days, when the water is not too 'rushy,' people come here for a dip in the many small pools created by the river , so beware of muggles. If the water is low, you can walk across and explore a little more of this site. Don't be disappointed if the water is high, because it is a good spot to watch Atlantic Salmon jump up river as well.

The cache is a camo covered pill bottle containing a log sheet and a few items for kids to trade. Bring a pen/pencil.

Please cover the cache well after finding it to make sure it doesn't get muggled!! Good luck!! :)
