Central Missouri has it's own jungles and they can be as treacherous as those in the Amazon jungles! Albeit smaller, there are predators that will attack you and plants that will afflict you with maladies. Your trek will take you through dense undergrowth (Russian Olive), some of the poisonous variety (Poison Ivy) and blood drinking wildlife (Ticks and Chiggers). Be sure to use your bug spray and wear long pants for this one! The trek will bring you to a seldom visited portion of McClung Park. However, it is a pretty section of woods none the less. Actually if you are lucky, you might stumble upon one of the trails and you'll be on easy street!
