In Memory Of #7 (Arrianna Elizabeth Carol Evans) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no response from the cache owner to my previous note, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN
As I walk through the vast land of the remembered
I try not to cry
I feel the faint breeze of the trees
With the leaves shuffling beneath me
Like a presence that once was
So many memories for someone who was on this earth for such a short time
A sunny day soon turns to rain
As the Holy one starts to speak about life and death
I taste the freshly dug earth in my dry mouth
With the smell of mourning in the air
Carried by the chosen six
Finally, unconfined by the hands of the sinners
The most precious jewel plunged to the heart of the soil
Long hair flowing like spun silk around her face
A dress that will never be worn to a party
Ultimately covered with the blooming seeds of life
A tissue in my hand soaked with tears of sorrow
Not too long til I gaze upon an uncomplicated looking stone
A fragment of lost time
The coming of the end, twisted by the ungodly power of fate
The thought, silent to the world but not to the mind
One thought will never rest
One memory will never die
A child GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN

This is a very special cache for me...... it is In Memory Of my daughter, Arrianna Elizabeth Carol Evans. This year she would have turned 18 but tragically her life was cut short when she was 2 years old. This cache is getting published on the 16th anniversary of the day she passed away. As you park and walk to this cache you will see her headstone. Please take the time to say a little prayer!!! Also if you look at the other headstone right there by hers, you will notice another life that was cut short......my niece, Anastasia Nykohl McCarthy, she passed away from SIDS four and a half months after my daughter passed away, so say a little prayer for her also, please.
