Station 6 unserer kleinen Partschinser Dorfrunde. Sie führt euch zum Schreibmaschinenmuseum.
Um ihrem großen Sohn ein bleibendes Andenken zu bewahren, hat die Gemeinde Partschins anlässlich des 100. Todestages von Peter Mitterhofer im Jahre 1993 ein provisorisches Schreibmaschinenmuseum im ehemaligen Grundschulgebäude im Ortsteil Töll eröffnet; dieses blieb bis 1997 in Betrieb. Im August 1997 übersiedelte das Schreibmaschinenmuseum in den Neubau ins Zentrum von Partschins, ins "Teisenhaus". Am 31. Mai 1998 wurde das neue Museum im Rahmen eines feierlichen Festaktes seiner Bestimmung übergeben.
Die Sammlung umfasst mit mehr als 1200 Einzelstücken die über 100 Jahre währende Entwicklungsgeschichte der Schreibmaschine, mit der reichen Fülle konstruktiver Ideen seit deren Erfindung im Jahre 1864. Sie erstreckt sich bis in die 80er Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts, als mit dem Siegeszug des Computers das Zeitalter der mechanischen Schreibmaschine zu Ende ging.
In der Nähe ist auch die Partschinser Dorfkirche sowie die öffentliche Bibliothek. Wir wünschen euch dabei viel Spaß.

Stazione 6 della nostra passeggiata nel paese di Parcines. Vi sta portando al museo per macchine da scrivere.
Ad imperitura memoria del suo "figlio" più famoso, nel 1993, in occasione del centesimo anniversario della morte di Peter Mitterhofer, l'inventore della macchina da scrivere, il Comune di Parcines ha allestito nel vecchio edificio della scuola elementare di Tel un museo di macchine da scrivere provvisorio. Questo museo rimase aperto fino al luglio 1997 e fu successivamente, in agosto 1997, trasferito nella nuova costruzione nel centro di Parcines, nella "Teisenhaus". Il 31 maggio 1998, accompagnato da una cerimonia inaugurale, ne ha trovato sede degna e definitiva.
La collezione comprende oltre 1.200 singoli pezzi con oltre 100 anni di storia dello sviluppo della macchina da scrivere, con la grande abbondanza di idee costruttive dalla sua invenzione nel 1864. Si estende a 80 anni del 20° secolo, quando l`invenzione del computer ha sostituto la macchina da scrivere meccanica.
Vicino vedete anche la chiesa del paese e la biblioteca. Vi auguriamo un buon divertimento.

In 1993, exactly 100 years after Peter Mitterhofer passed away, the town of Partschins gave his old son a proper memorial, by opening a small museum in Toell. In 1997 the museum moved to the new built "Teisenhaus", situated in the center of Partschins near the church. On the 31st of May 1998, the new museum was inaugurated officially.
The collection includes more than 1,200 individual pieces over 100-year-long development history of the typewriter, with the rich abundance of constructive ideas since its invention in 1864. It extends to the 80 years of the 20th century, when the rise of the computer substituted the mechanical typewriter.
