Geocache Description:

This is a cache and dash to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our wedding took place in Culfeightrin church in July 1988 across the road from this car park.

The wonderful mural was part of the North East PEACE III Partnership. The aim of the project was to promote positive cultural traditions through visual imagery and to deliver a legacy which sould leave an increased understanding and toleranceof all the cultural traditions within the Moyle District Council area through a programme of sharing and exchange. Each village is linked together through a tourism trail of artwork.

You can find out about the facinating history from as far back as the Mesolithic or Middle Stone Age when the first settlers arrived about 10,000 years ago.
