Camping Pinehurst Gnomes Traditional Cache

To be found a small cache, with log book it can be used for travelers or trinkets. You will need to pay park fee's and follow all rules in cache. Could be a long walk in the winter about 20 minutes.

A couple of Garden Gnomes were at Pinehurst one weekend instead of leaving they decided to setup a camp of their own but being magical they need to be found. Once you find their site they'll likley be off collecting Gnome food. So feel free to trade and drop items. This pine forest was planted in 1973 many other types of vegetation have grown here amongst the pines. Please leave the cache as found.

 You will need to pay park fee 's and follow all rules in cache. Also Pick up a trail map at the Gatehouse but they are posted around the park also. Bring a pen and small items. Way points are included for Parking. Parking is available (Spring, Summer and Fall) in the park. During Winter you may have to walk into the park from the road.  Although this is not an official CITO event please dispose of any refuse you may find in the park.
