Geocache Description:

Priceless Time is no longer with us but his spirit lives on in the many rural and tree themed caches that he created.

About knee high just inside the gates is a small camo container. It can swing but does not see much light. Bring your own writing equipment.

In August 1923 the town clerk of New Plymouth Borough received a letter from Mrs Alice Honeyfield’s accountant offering to provide ornamental gates to be erected at the entrance to Te Henui Cemetery and to be paid for by Mrs Honeyfield. The offer was accepted and architects Messenger, Griffith & Taylor were engaged to design the entrance. Construction was completed by Julian & Sons Ltd at a cost of 166 pounds. In May 1924 a report in a newspaper indicated that Mr Griffiths who was also a town councillor was responsible for design and supervised construction free of charge.
