Geocache Description:

The Paul Smiths VIC (Visitor Interpretive Center) is a very nice set of trails by the hamlet of Paul Smiths in Franklin County, NY. They offer many different events year-round. The network of more than 25 miles of trail is open from dawn to dusk and is dog-friendly.

This cache is a small lock and lock, just off of the outer deck of the VIC building. It's just beside the downhill trail, which has one of the greatest views- just walk along this path about 50 feet west, and you'll see it. This has to be one of my most favorite spots up in the Adirondacks; you can just keep walking along these trails to mountains, ponds,  brooks, forests, and marshes- pretty much anywhere. Hope you will have as much fun as I had.
