Silver Marsh Spider:
Family: Tetragnathidae.
Average body length: 6-15 mm female, with leg span up to 30 mm.
Identification: Long cylindrical body. Silver or yellow abdomen with bright red or green marks to the back. Long thin legs. Males are smaller than the females.
Habitat: In or under grass, usually close to water.
Customs: Usually found away from it’s web.
Venom: Harmless to humans.
Web: A wheel web.
Food: Insects.
