Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small brass marker which comemorates a big event in history.

In the 1930s, Potsdammer Place was one of the busiest squares in Europe. it was surrounded by hotels, shops and resturants. Following the division of Berlin at the end of WWII, the British, American and Soviet sectors met at the devestated square. On August 13th, 1961, East German police sealed off the Soviet sector and the square became a desolate no-mans-land, the so-called "Death Strip" in the middle of the city.

Find the marker and stop to reflect for a moment.

Since this is a virtual cache, you need post a picture of yourself and your GPSr at the marker when you log the cache.
