Anstiegsweg über Obervellach: Vom Parkplatz über Obervellacher Stand und Obervellacher Alm auf den Spitzegel.
Anstiegsweg über Weißensee Westufer: Am besten beim Auffangparkplatz Praditz parken. Weiter mit dem Rad zur Bodenalm oder mit Bus nach Naggl und weiter zu Fuß, oder mit dem Schiff zum Paterzipf und weiter zu Fuß über den Radniger Sattel und die Obervellacher Alm auf den Spitzegel.
Anstiegsweg über Weißensee Ostufer: Von Weißenbach (Fahrverbotstafel) zur Fischeralm und über die Kriebhöhe auf den Spitzegel.
Die Dose ist vom Gipfel nach Süden platziert, hier sollte man bei Nässe und Schnee äußerst vorsichtig hinuntergehen! Achtung, steile Wiese!
Vergiss nicht die Bonuszahl zu notieren.

Spitzegel is a mountain which is 2119 m high and it is situated in the Gailtaler Alps. The summit is quite difficult to reach, you should have a good head for heights because you have to do some climbing on rocks. You have nice scenery on top of the mountain. You can shorten the path by taking a bicycle.
Ascent via Obervellach: From the parking lot to Obervellacher Stand and Obervellacher Alm to Spitzegel
Ascent via Weißensee westshore: The best parking lot is at Praditz. Then you continue by bike to Bodenalm or by bus to Naggl and then on foot, or you take the ship to Paterzipf and then you continue on foot to Radniger Sattel and Obervellacher Alm to Spitzegel.
Ascent via Weißensee eastshore: From Weißenbach (driving ban) to Fischeralm and Kriebhöhe to Spitzegel.
You find the cache some steps from the summit to the south. Be careful, there is a steep meadow where you should take care when it is wet and slippery!
