Welcome to Wink!
This is a very unique cache! It was inspired by a cache placed by WVTim! I can pretty much guarantee that you have never seen a cache anything like this before (Unless you have seen the original!) (or are the cacher, Tundra Wolf - see logs!) A big thanks to WVTim and Dayspring for allowing me to copy another one of their original concepts.
It is less than 0.5 miles off the interstate and placed with permission of the Big Flats Public Library. This cache is located at the Big Flats Library in their parking area. You can and should drive right to the cache. Please attempt this cache only from dawn to dust. Kids will love this cache, but ONLY with adult supervision.
Please note, it DOES NOT need to be taken apart, pried open or otherwise disassembled. No tools are required, but you will need a "special device". Below I have given you some hints as to what you need to "bring this cache to life". The cache is completely out in the open and can be spotted easily. But.... to sign the log you will have to find the cache secret. Listed below are some helpful statements that should help you come prepared to find this cache.
Hints:
1. You will have to be a well-prepared motorist to claim this cache, especially for a the cold winter early AM car won't start type of the day.
2. If you hiked or rode a motorcycle to this cache, you will not be able to find the secret to the cache.
3. If you have figured out the secret, but do not have the special equipment, then the Walmart close by (N 42° 09.901 W 076° 49.321) will sell you a pair. (You need to have them in your car anyway!). :)
IMPORTANT: Connect your device to the cache. (+) on red and (-) on black for UP. After connecting your device, push the “nose” button on the front. Release the button when the cache is high enough to sign. Sign and replace the log. To hide the cache you will need to reverse the process AT THE CACHE, again pushing the “nose” button on the front after you have reversed the locations of the device AT THE CACHE. Lower the cache properly before leaving. You can position the cache to within reach by raising or lowering the cache with your special device. PLEASE do not put ANYTHING into or attempt to reach into the roof hole of the cache. Be Gentle... so other cachers may enjoy this unique cache.
