MEPAL MINI #1 ** 'Charlotte'**
A Disguised 2ml Vial ...
My first circular
. I now appreciate how much work goes into all these circulars I've walked.
I hope you enjoy this walk - Approx 2 miles long, caches are placed close enough together to keep the kids happy. You get to walk along the New Bedford River, follow the 'Mepal Way' footpath thru the fields, cross a few little bridges and finish with a stroll thru part of Mepal village. Parking near the pub, means you can end your walk with refreshments by the river. Apart from this last bit of road (which is very quiet),,, the rest of the walk is great for dogs. Plenty of water around in ditches and 'catchwater drains' for a drink or a quick swim! (for the dogs, that is!)
The land where caches 1 & 2 are placed belongs to the Environment Agency, and they have tenants who graze their livestock there. They have kindly given permission for these caches to be placed here, but ask you to please close gates when prompted to.
Some of these caches are disguised - and might be a bit fragile. Please take care opening some of them... and use tweezers if possible to get to the log. If, by accident, a cache breaks - dont worry, please let me know, so I can get it replaced ASAP.
Happy Caching! ![laugh laugh](http://www.geocaching.com/static/js/CKEditor/4.4.0/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.png)
