We hid this cache on June 7, 2014 in honor of the 5th anniversary of our first cache find on June 7, 2009. A while earlier, K had a good night at the casino. When we got home, she told R "I'm gonna spend my winnings on one of those handheld GPS units so we can try Geocaching." R thought to himself "Well, that's one way to blow a couple hundred bucks and few weekends before she gets over that little phase". We did some research, K bought the GPS, and we found our first 2 caches the following Sunday. The first we tried was a Multi called Knot Another Weeping Willow in Willow Park, which confused the heck out of us since we didn't know about Multi-caches, but we finally found it. Then we found The Great Wall of Eden Prairie, a traditional that Geodog Gabby sniffed out and pounced on to show us where it was. Finally we tried Southeast by Southwest which was our first ever DNF. We liked it enough we went and found some more the following weekend too. You can guess the rest of the story. 5 years and over 3500 finds later she's still not over it yet!
This should be a pretty easy find for you. In your log please tell the story of how you got started geocaching if you'd like.
