I always thought this path name had a 'heavenly' reference, such as 'Road to God'. However, in the local patois 'got' means 'boulder' and probably refers either to the larger stones to be found lower down the footpath, or to this being an old byway to a raised beach.
A small container with room for just a few tradables.
Access is by foot - please do not drive down the lane as it is a no-through road for vehicles and there is not a suitable turning point. There is room to park at the eastern end for a quick' park and grab'.
