This cache is being placed with fond memories of weekend summer trips to this park to walk the dogs with my mom and dad. There are plenty of benches, picnic tables, and grassy areas to enjoy eating by the river, a Buffalo summer day or sunset, or just watching the water pass by. Now that I have a family of my own I get to appreciate watching my daughter and new geo dog Loki playing and prancing along the same trails that my I did when I was a child.
The cache is large enough to hold the log only so bring your own writing utensil. PLEASE replace exactly as you found it in order to discourage muggles from finding it.
Niawanda Park has some strange rules for those of you who like to enjoy caching with the geo-dog. Dogs are only allowed in the park from 6am to 9am from May 1st to Oct 1st. Park hours end at 10pm in the summer. There are plenty of other caches along the path to make this a whole day of adventure and fun. There is always someone using the trails for walking/jogging/or running. Enjoy the park! LAME LOGGERS WILL HAVE THEIR LOG DELETED!!!!! DO NOT USE (ie EASY, TFTC, or TFTH with nothing else added!)
