There are currently 2,391,994 million active geocachers worldwide. Every month, Groundspeak awards one member or team the “Geocacher of the Month” award. You must agree that being chosen out of almost 2.4 million members is a huge honour and is indeed a very special achievement. This award has previously been given to not one but two teams in South Africa. Louwtjie&Vroutjie received their award in February 2013 and iPajero received theirs in March 2014.
As luck would have it, both of these teams will be in Port Elizabeth on the 30th of May and we have taken this opportunity to set up an event so we can meet, greet and learn from these two old Grand Masters of geocaching.
We are also trying to secure a very special (secret) guest for this event. Hopefully they will be able to attend.
