St Kew (Cornish: Lanndohow)[1] is a village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is also the name of the civil parish (known in Cornish as Pluw Gew),[1] which includes the church town, St Kew, and nearby St Kew Highway (Fordh Lanndogho). The parish is named for a Welsh saint, Cywa or Kew, possibly the sister of Docco, also known as: Docuin, Docwinn, Docquinn,[2] who founded a monastery at or near the village of St Kew.[3] The 15th-century church, however is now dedicated to St James
Date: Sunday 6th July Times : 12pm until 5pm
Come and meet with other Geocachers and their families in The Red Lion Inn in Cornwall at St Kew Highway and have a lovely meal. Meals are served from 12pm onwards. There will be a trail going live on the day. We will let you know how many caches when we have laid the trail. There will be some unusual caches so come and discover. There will be activities for the youngsters and those adults that like games and testing grey matter!!!! Liz and I will be there from 12 pm onwards.
Not able to state how many caches have been laid as there have been issues with some due to fields containing cows calves and bull so potentially dangerous so would prefer to be wise before the event. So it won't be the circular we had intended. There will be plenty of routes to choose and cache and dashes. Also the caches were numbered before issues raised so you will have to ignore numbers as some well be missing as cache pages can't be edited once locked. Will repost once I know situation
There will be 32 new caches on offer. There will be paper copies of cache details for those (like me) without hi tech at The Red Lion at mid day
