Crois-rathaid means 'crossroads' in Gaelic and this is a simple micro-cache located at a junction between forestry tracks.
Crois-rathaid means 'crossroads' in Gaelic and this cache is located at a junction between forestry tracks. Little more to say about this one, other than it's a sneaky micro-cache located along the route of a lovely circular walk below the southern slopes of Ben Wyvis.
At this crossroads you can decide to head towards the crofting townships of Bottacks and the Heights of Achterneed, push on up the hill towards Ben Wyvis or carry on down towards Gleann Sgathaich and Contin. Keeping on this track in a westerly direction, you'll eventually reach the village of Garve. A lovely walk on a sunny day.
ADVICE: This is a micro-cache. You'll need our own pen/pencil; you may also need tweezers to retrieve the logbook. The cache is well hidden. Sneaky sneaky!
