Welcome to the Geo-Boat Water Trail & Geo-Art
Central Delmarva is rich with wonderful ways to explore nature by boat, thus there are many good caches around here with this “boat required” attribute attached.
This Geo-Art series has four challenge caches located at the corners of the Geo-Boat. They are “boat required” attribute challenges for found and/or placed caches totaling 25, 50, 75 and 100 with this attribute…If you don’t qualify for those caches yet, you may still find and sign the logs while you’re paddling by and claim your find in the future once you’ve qualified. (See those cache pages for complete details)
Check out these other local water trails as well (listed alphabetically)

This water trail consists of 41 caches located along the Nanticoke River near Sharptown, MD. Many of the caches are not accessible during low tide. Please visit this link for tidal information. http://tides.mobilegeographics.com/locations/5774.html
The caches are numbered by the shortest route to retrieve them rather then the order they appear in the Geo-Art. The total route distance is about 11 miles, so it’s not intended to be paddled in one day. The caches are placed with the boat ramp near the middle to make it easy to split the trail into two sections…
#1 thru #23 are upstream of the boat ramp with a 6-mile route (approx.)
#24 thru #41 are downstream of the boat ramp with a 5-mile route (approx.)
The open water of the Nanticoke River can be rough at times with small waves and white caps in the wind… it’s calmer if you stay near the shore as much as possible….Much of the time will be spent winding through the grasses and woods where the water is calm.
There appears to be a fair amount of GPSr signal bounce in the area, so I’ve added location hints to each of the cache pages if needed.
Caches are log only, BYOP
