There is a challenge cache for holidays that is located in Mirror Lake State Park: GC53ZKH You say you don’t qualify for that one yet? Or maybe you do, but you want to claim another challenge? Then this “lite” version is for you. There are only six caches you need to find before qualifying for this challenge. Six caches... of any kind, anywhere. No need to disrupt any family gatherings by running off to find caches to fill these dates. These “holidays” are important ones for those of us who live and play in Wisconsin, and espcially for those of us who love the outdoors. Did you ever celebrate any of these dates by geocaching in some way, shape, or form?
To qualify for this challenge, you will need to find a minimum of one cache on each of the six special dates listed below. Verification for you as the finders and us as the hiders is simple: just click the statistics tab on your GC profile page. You can see if you have already found caches on these six dates, and so can we. If you do not have your statistics shown on your profile page, you can list your six caches and the dates you found them when you upload your log here. You can do that anyway.
It’s that simple; many of you may already qualify. Others of you now have a goal to work towards. You may find and sign the log sheet for this cache at any time, but if you have not met the challenge as of the time of your find, we ask that you please log a “note” instead of a “found it” on the cache page. You can edit your type of log or write a new one once you have met the challenge.

This cache is also along a cross-country ski trail. If there is snow on the ground and the trails are groomed, you MUST stay off the trail corridor entirely. Hike or snowshoe parallel to the trail in the trees or on the open land.... or find it while you are skiing!
