After a long snowy winter it's time to get out and do a fairly easy but pretty hide.
I talked with a few people at the Gun Club and they have no prob with parking or walking back here unless there is an event going on then parking can get a little scarce.
This is an active gun club and people do shoot guns at a gun club ( oddly enough ) so don't get your panties in a bunch if you hear a gunshot.
The hike will take you from parking for about a1/2 mile walk on a level path to the old Mauch Chunk Reservoir
There is a Keep Out sign at the start of the path but I have talked with the guys at the club and also some fishermen that I met and they all said the sign is from back when it was an active reservoir 50 years ago also there were 3 joggers and a guy rideing a horse so alot of people use the path.
This was running strong when I hid the cache I hope it stays that way in the heat of summer
