wandercat: Only a tatty piece of "spiderweb" remains. Everything else has vanished. Sad because the hide was a favourite of many people. At 75 I am now reluctant to climb the tree to install a subsitute.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located just off State Highway 6 near a popular swimming beach and water ski area adjacent to a lakeside walking and cycling track.

There is plenty of parking close to the site.  Watch out for rabbit holes.

The cache is above ground level but is easily accessed from the ground. The log and a pencil are contained within a tube.
