This is our first own geocache in Namibia. We found this place during our "Tour de Namibia 2014" as it was one of our finest days.
As the south of Namibia is quite underrepresented in adequate caches, we chose this place because of the nearby Koiimasis Ranch and the "Fest Inn Fels-Lodge", where we spent a wonderful night.
When you're in Namibia during summertime you will experience quite a desert, but in rainy season everything seems to turn in green. Then you see lots of green plants, grass and even shy animals will come out and walk by the (gravel) road. At this Point of the D707 we saw our first Oryx.
This cache is a quick drive-in cache for those, who are turning to Koiimasis and of course for those passing by, too.
