How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The name Frimley is derived from the Saxon name Fremma's Lea which means Fremma's clearing.  The land was owned by Chertsey Abbey from 673 to 1537 and was a farming village.  More recently it was a coach stop on a popular Portsmouth to Southampton route for about four hundred years.

The container does not permit swappables - you will need a pen/pencil to record on the log.

This is a small, black, magnetic geocache.

Access is very easy.  Do not park on the double yellow lines though.  You're OK to step on them though!  If it's raining, the connifers don't offer much protection any more!

This is our first cache we have logged to allow the kids (and Dad, to a certain extent) to see how these things work before progressing to bigger things.
