Welcome to the Buschwhacking series. This is a short series that takes you on a levee, through woods, glades, across creeks and up hills, eventually ending at “Deep in the Busch.” This is a nice hike in a seldom visited area of Busch Wildlife Conservation Area. It abounds in wildlife. When placing these caches, different critters were seen at each location. Pack a lunch and make an afternoon of it.
Important: the northwest corner of Busch is surrounded by private property on two sides, any incident of trespass, will cause the geocache to be removed.
There are two parking areas. The first parking area is N38° 43.758/W090° 46.529, and the second is N38° 43.863/W090° 46.426.
You are looking for a regular size peanut jar.
Thanks to Raenhard Wesselschmidt of the MDC for his cooperation in contributing to geocaching. Please be aware that there is hunting allowed in this area at various times of the year. For more information, call 636-441-4554.
