Unleash Your Maker Madness
Celebrate Maker Madness. Hundreds of Maker Madness events around the world aim to inspire geocachers. Learn the magical formula that weaves innovative containers, inspiring locations and powerful storytelling into creative geocache hides. While amazing geocaches live on and on, Maker Madness is for a limited-time only. It runs from March 28 through April 7. Everyone logging an “Attended” for a Maker Madness event earns a digital “Maker” souvenir for their geocaching profile.
I thought it would be great to have a "Maker Madness" event for our area.
I visualize several things for this event which will be held Monday, April 7 at the Quinn's Family Restaurant located at Rte 45 andClay Street, Austinburg, OH.starting at 5:30 PM
1. Cachers hopefully will bring some innovative cache containers they have made or purchased and discuss them with other cachers.
2. I have photographed a number of clever caches I have found while geocaching and will put together a slide show of these caches. I would like other cachers to email or text me photos that they have taken so that I can include them in the show.
3. I am attempting to put together the materials for making a cache container at this event. All other cachers are encouraged to do the same..
4. We will take a group picture outside the restaurant at 6:30 PM
I am open to your ideas and would appreciate any assistance that you could give. also.
As soon as this listing is submitted I will register the event so that all attendees will be receiving a " Maker Madness " souvenir.
The room we will be meeting in has a limited capacity so I would appreciate people logging a will attend as soon as possible.
As with all events the primary goal is to have some fun ! I hope to hear from you soon.
