The cache is placed at a elevation of 7700 ft. you start out at 6840 ft. No special equipment is needed to get to the cache, there is a 8 ft ledge but you can get by it easy. The 4.5 rating is for the steep terrain getting up and down the mountain from the cache area. Be sure to take some drinking water with you.
This cache is placed at the site of a airplane crash that happened on June-21-1980, there was two people on board that was killed in the crash. I do not remember if the plane was coming in for a landing or taking off from the Price airport, there still is a lot of the plane scattered around the area. Search and Rescue climbed up the mountain to retrieve the bodys and there belongings and bring them down. Take your cameras and binoculars to take in the views. Also be careful on the hike up and when you get on top don't get to close to the edge.
